Sip Steady, a zero-proof creative agency, aims to redefine the way we celebrate. Dry Vibes: A Zero Proof Experience will be held on January 12 at The Station by 28 Event Space. For the third year, this event will showcase the art socializing without a single drop of alcohol. It’s a toast to mindfulness, innovation, and the growing cultural shift toward zero-proof living.
The afternoon event features zero-proof and alcohol alternative tastings. These zero-proof drinks are thoughtfully designed to showcase the artistry and innovation behind alcohol-free beverages.
The event also features an inspiring keynote from Dr. Jaban Moore, a wellness and holistic health specialist. Chosen for his expertise and impact in the field, Dr. Moore brings valuable insights to those navigating personal health challenges, such as autoimmune conditions and detoxification. His presence underscores the event’s focus on empowerment and holistic well-being, offering attendees practical tools and knowledge to take charge of their health.
Complementing the keynote is an engaging panel discussion featuring local insights from Amanda Blancarte, owner and CEO of Third Place Lounge; Robin Krause, founder of Billie’s Grocery; and Steve Trieu, founder and owner of KC Bartenders.
Blancarte, known for championing mindful moderation, has created a space that equally celebrates both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, fostering inclusivity for all drink preferences. “She’s ahead of the times for the Midwest,” said Kayla Mason, Sip Steady co-founder and COO. Krause, an early adopter of health-conscious trends, will offer her expertise in introducing customers to the growing popularity of mocktails and other wellness-focused offerings. Trieu, a sober bartender and industry veteran, brings a unique perspective, blending his expertise in crafting elevated beverage menus with his commitment to providing detailed non-alcoholic options, showing how hospitality can embrace the zero-proof movement without compromise.
This year’s event also introduces a DIY Lounge, where attendees can get hands-on by crafting their own zero-proof creations. “We really want to encourage connection, working with your hands, and having meaningful conversations,” Kayla explained. With DIY vendors and interactive elements, Dry Vibes offers more than just great drinks—it’s an opportunity to engage, create, and connect.
Curated by SipSteady, Dry Vibes is proof that abstaining from alcohol doesn’t mean compromising on the experience. With every element thoughtfully designed, the event invites everyone—whether sober, sober-curious, or simply curious—to reimagine what it means to celebrate, connect, and thrive.
