New mommy Rachel Perez is going to prison for some really shitty parenting.

Last

August, Perez was arrested

after her 6-year-old son with Down syndrome was

found covered with feces in a hot, filthy, mold-covered attic in De

Soto. The boy was malnourished, and his bones could be seen through his

skin. This led to charges of attempted second-degree murder, abuse of a child younger than 18,

and aggravated endangerment of a child.
