Quadruple shooting takes Kansas City, Missouri’s homicide total to 98 (updated)

UPDATE: The homicide victims have been identified as 22-year-old Elijah J. Nelson and 19-year-old Damen D. Washington of Kansas City, Missouri.
Original Story (7 a.m.): A quadruple shooting at 36th and Woodland early Saturday morning left two people dead — and Kansas City, Missouri’s homicide count two closer to topping 100 for the year.
Just after midnight, Kansas City police responded to the shooting and found four men shot inside a parked car. One of the men died at the scene. The other three were rushed to a local hospital. One of the men died Sunday morning.
