Professor Kline’s first day of class

Scene: Earlier this morning, Phill Kline’s first day as a visiting law professor at Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University School of Law in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Hello, class. My name is Phill Kline. I’m the former attorney general of Kansas and the district attorney of Johnson County, where the soil is stained red with the blood of the unborn. Louis Kahn said even a brick wants to be something. A brick wants to be something. A fetus wants to be something! It aspires. Even a common, ordinary fetus … wants to be something more than it is. It wants to be something better than it is. That is what we must be. See you on Friday. — Justin Kendall
