Prince Block Party going down in Hot 103 Jamz’s parking lot at noon today

Let’s go crazy … in the parking lot of Hot 103 Jamz. The radio station — 11131 Colorado Avenue — is throwing a Prince Block Party outside of the station’s studios starting at noon today to celebrate the life of the pop icon who died Thursday at age 57.

Alamo Drafthouse is doing a pair of memorial screenings of Purple Rain Monday, April 25, at 7 and 9:55 p.m. All proceeds go to the Midwest Music Foundation.
If you miss those screenings, Tapcade (1701 McGee) is also doing a screening of Purple Rain along with showing interviews and videos on Friday, April 29, at 8 p.m., and Saturday, April 30, at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. All of the proceeds go to the Midwest Music Foundation.
