Previewing the Blues @ Blackhawks Tickets

Tonight there is an amazing hockey game taking place between two of the best teams in all of the NHL, the St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks. These two teams both have over 90+ points on the season and the Blues are the only team in the league to have over 100 points (101) and are separated by just 7 points in the Central Division.

The St. Louis Blues are led by USA Olympic hero TJ Oshie and Alexander Steen who have 54 and 53 points respectively. The Blues also traded for goalie Ryan Miller at the trade deadline who has been playing lights out since coming to St. Louis winning 7 of his 8 games in net with a 1.66 GAA (Goals Against Average) and his only loss coming in Overtime. St. Louis has not lost this month going 8-0-1 thus far and has won their last four against the Blackhawks. They will try to keep the streak alive tonight when they go to the United Center to extend their lead over the Blackhawks.

Standing in their way will be Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp who have been as good as anyone in the NHL this season with each of them having scored over 60 points up to this point. The Hawks will need their big three to step up tonight to help make up some ground on the Central Division leading St. Louis Blues. Blackhawks tickets for this game have surprisingly fallen by 32% in price over the past week even though this is the premier game of the week in the NHL. Blackhawks fans will find tickets averaging $185 with the Get-in priced significantly less at $85.

Aside from this being a matchup of two great teams this game holds the added bonus of these two teams doing everything they can as they are jockeying for home ice come playoff time. This means that tonights game could be the difference between who gets home ice and who doesn’t if they meet in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which in turn could very well be the deciding factor between who wins the series and who loses.
