Pretty Polly will be avenged at 2010’s Murder Ballad Ball

Gunslingers, thieves and lovers. This year’s Murder Ballad Ball — which is the event’s second incarnation; check out a review and a slideshow of last year’s here — is bound to boast all three, plus a hearty helping of the dish best served cold: revenge. Dutch Humphrey, who’s a member of Atlantic Fadeout and Cadillac Flambe, and Kris Bruders, Humphrey’s Cadillac Flambe bandmate, have lined up a powerful list of KC’s best Americana acts to deliver the story of Pretty Polly and her shallow grave.
