Possibly intoxicated woman crashes SUV into a parked train, lives

Hitting a parked train takes some skill. As a target, a choo-choo isn’t small. And if it’s not roaring down the tracks, then there’s plenty of opportunity to stomp on the brake. But that was apparently a problem for one woman earlier this morning.

According to KCTV5, the possibly intoxicated woman ran her SUV into a train at 18th Street and Kansas Avenue in KCK around 7:15 a.m. The collision was strong enough to deploy the SUV’s airbag.
