This multi-level spot is set to bring a bubbly experience like no other, with a focus on champagne, community, and good times.
Johnson’s inspiration for Blanc came from a transformative trip to Italy, where she fell in love with the casual, everyday integration of wine and champagne into European life. “In Europe, champagne isn’t just for grand occasions,” Johnson explains. “It’s part of daily life, and I wanted to bring that spirit of celebration and gratitude to Kansas City.”
After leaving a decade-long corporate career and meticulously planning the concept, Johnson turned her dream into reality—creating a chic, community-centered space where guests can toast to both life’s big milestones and small joys.
Her mission is clear: to make champagne fun, accessible, and something that isn’t reserved just for weddings or promotions. “Champagne is the drink of celebration,” she shares. “We pop bottles when we buy a house, get a job, or celebrate love. Why not bring that into everyday life?”
To bring her vision to life, Johnson has assembled an impressive team, including Head Chef Chad Tilman, who has created a menu that pairs beautifully with the bubbles. Blanc offers an impressive selection of over 100 sparkling wines and champagnes from around the world. From iconic vintage Champagnes to more affordable and equally delicious options like Cava, Prosecco, and Crémant, there’s something for every palate and price point.
