Playing the Bills
We don’t know whether the Chiefs’ 2010 season will be a trick or a treat yet, but we do know that the team has been at least as pleasant a surprise as receiving a grab bag of sweets from a curmudgeonly elderly woman on Halloween. The running game is vibrant, the defense young and talented, the coaching staff decisive and bold. At noon, the Chiefs get a chance to provide yet another treat to the Arrowhead (1 Arrowhead Drive) crowd during a game against the Buffalo Bills. While the Chiefs have been a surprise, the Bills are the NFL’s undead, continuing to play despite lacking an identity, a direction or a purpose. The team so far has been so bad that its fan base got an early start on Halloween by wearing paper bags over their faces at home games. Tickets cost $72.50 to $278.10. Call 800-745-3000.
