Platte County D.A. gives slap on the wrist to grossest man ever

If I were Platte County Prosecutor Eric Zahnd, I’m not sure I’d so proud of the 120-day sentence my office handed slimy-ass Justin Leonard. Leonard, 36, pleaded guilty to felony sexual assault and two counts of sexual misconduct for inappropriately touching female clients while working as a masseuse. Leonard’s skeeviness was reported by customers who’d gotten massages at the Beauty Brands at I-25 and Barry Road and at Allure Salon and Day Spa on North Congress.

According to a press release from Zahnd’s office, Leonard will serve five years probation if he successfully completes 120 days of “sexual risk assessment.” While his crimes didn’t inflict any actual injury, Zahnd said in his press release, Leonard “undoubtedly caused them (the victims) great emotional distress.”

So this dude basically gets four months of therapy, while his victims, at best, won’t ever be able to trust a male massage therapist again. But what about other men with licenses that prove their professionalism? Supposedly professional men with access to heavy anesthesia? These women deserve more after being groped by this jackass.

Leonard was also charged for the same kind of offenses he allegedly committed in Jackson County as a masseuse on the Country Club Plaza. Sentencing is scheduled for July 22. If he receives actual jail time, perhaps a nice inmate will teach Leonard alternate techniques for “deep tissue massage.”
