Planet Comicon announces first wave of 25th anniversary show celebrity guests, including stars from Sons of Anarchy, Boy Meets World, and Scream

Planet Comicon Kansas City’s 25 Anniversary show promises to be its best rendition yet, taking place March 8-10, 2024 at Bartle Hall at the Kansas City Convention Center. They’ve announced that stars from Sons of Anarchy, Boy Meets World, and Scream will make appearances at the show.

Charlie Hunnam, who played Jax Teller in Sons of Anarchy, is making his first appearance in Kansas City ever. Hunnam is also known for his roles as Raleigh Becket in Pacific Rim and the title role in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and he’ll also be in a title role in the Zack Snyder film Rebel Moon, which released next month on Netflix. Joining him is Sons of Anarchy costar Ron Perlman, who played Clay Morrow in the series. Perlman also starred alongside Hunnam in Pacific Rim and has an extensive list of acclaimed performances. Both stars will be present at Planet Comicon Sat. and Sun. and will be part of a special souvenir celeb photo-op.

Boy Meets World stars Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, and Will Friedle will also be present at Planet Comicon. They played Topanga Lawrence, Shawn Hunter, and Eric Matthews, respectively, with all three reprising their roles for the follow-up series Girl Meets World, and they co-host a Boy Meets World podcast, Pod Meets World. The trio will also be a part of the souvenir celeb photo-op.

In most exciting news, Scream horror franchise stars Neve Campbell, Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, and Jamie Kennedy will makes appearances on all three days of Planet Comicon. Campbell is known for her role as Sidney Prescott in the franchise and has starred in a number of horror films, establishing herself as a “scream queen.” Lillard played Stu Macher in Scream and is also well-known for playing Shaggy Rogers in the live action Scooby Doo films and now voices the character in cartoons since Casey Kasem retired from the role in 2009. Most recently, he was in Five Nights at Freddy’s. Ulrich is best-known for his role as Billy Loomis in Scream, along with starring in The Craft as Chris Hooker, and he recently starred in Riverdale. Kennedy played Randy Meeks in Scream and is also known for starring in Malibu’s Most Wanted and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, along with playing multiple characters in The Jamie Kennedy Experiment
