Pitch Music Award nominee La Guerre has a free in-store at Mills Records on Friday
If, for some terrible reason, you’re unable to attend the Pitch Music Awards Showcase this Saturday at Riot Room, fret not: Mills Record Co. is hosting a free in-store with PMA nominee La Guerre (a.k.a. Katlyn Conroy, also a member of Cowboy Indian Bear, another 2014 nomination).
La Guerre is nominated this year in the singer-songwriter category, and it’s no secret why. She’s one of the area’s most prolific artists, and her voice – at once a delicate and powerful instrument – is singular and arresting.
