Pipeline Productions announces cancellation of Phases of the Moon Music & Art Festival, offers ticket refunds

Storm clouds seem to be gathering over the relationship between local booking agency Pipeline Productions and Ozark, Arkansas, venue Mulberry Mountain.

On June 13, Pipeline announced the cancellation of country music festival Thunder on the Mountain, which was scheduled to take place at Mulberry Mountain from June 26-28.

Then, on September 1, the Phases of the Moon Music & Art Festival — scheduled to take place from October 16-18 — announced the festival’s cancellation on its Facebook page.

According to Fayetteville’s Five News KFSM, a class-action lawsuit on behalf of would-be concertgoers who had purchased tickets to the festival was filed against Pipeline Productions and three other affiliated Thunder on the Mountain organizers by a Little Rock lawyer on June 22. The lawsuit seeks reimbursement for losses incurred by the canceled festival in the way of hotel and camping reservations.

Pipeline Productions has responded with the following statement to Phases of the Moon ticket holders:

We regret to inform you that the 2015 Phases of the Moon Music + Art Festival has been canceled due to circumstances beyond our control. Per the policy of Pipeline Ticketing, full refunds will be given on all orders within 90 days of the cancellation notice. If you purchased your passes from an Official Ticket Outlet, you must receive your refund during business hours directly within that business. Please know that we are working diligently to satisfy each and every patron. We appreciate you and greatly apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused.

A representative for Pipeline Productions declined to comment further on the canceled festivals or the lawsuit.
