The Royals are in the midst of a 1-1 stalemate in a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. After sweeping the Chicago White Sox to start the second half of the season last week, the Royals are going blow for blow with the team from down south. Much of the team’s recent success can be attributed to star Bobby Witt Jr., as he has gone 14 for 27 in his last seven games, totaling a .519 batting average—an absolutely absurd accomplishment. Among those 14 hits are seven RBIs and two home runs. Witt Jr. and the team hope to close the series out with a win tonight at 7:10 p.m. against the Diamondbacks before the Chicago Cubs come to town on Friday. The boys are playing some ball, Kansas City.
