Styx
Cable Dahmer Arena
Saturday, September 21

Having risen to fame in the ’70s, Styx has continued performing their signature ballads and classic hits without skipping a beat. Their ability to create a nostalgic yet fresh experience made Saturday night in Kansas City seem intimate and made just for us. Their setlist featuring classics like “Too Much Time On Ny Hands,” “Lady,” and “Blue Collar Man.” The band, which currently includes founding member James “J.Y.” Young and longtime vocalist/guitarist Tommy Shaw, blends their iconic sound with modern sensibilities, keeping their shows engaging for both old and new fans. Our photographer Allison Scavo was there to capture it all.
