Photos: Sporting takes 4-2 loss against Portland at Children’s Mercy

Sporting Kansas City took a 4-2 loss to the Portland Timbers on Sunday, April 13 at Children’s Mercy Park. Goals were flying quick and often on the warmest day of the year so far as both teams knocked in two of their own goals in the first half of the match. Unfortunately, Sporting’s two would be the only time they found the back of the net, while Portland scored an additional two goals in the second half to close out the match. Sporting is set to play San Jose on Saturday, April 19, hoping to get back in the win column.
