Photos: Royals take down Angels on Monday night

The Kansas City Royals faced the L.A. Angels on Monday, Aug. 19, in game one of a three-game series. After a 4-2 away stint against the Minnesota Twins and the Cincinnati Reds, the Royals stay hot with this 5-3 win against L.A.’s second favorite baseball team. The Royals propelled themselves to victory after scoring one run in the third inning and two more in the fourth. The Angles gave the boys in blue a run for their money, scoring a total of three runs between the seventh and eighth innings. However, that would not be enough to take the Yals down on Monday night. The boys continue to play ball.
