Photos: Royals swipe game two of three-game series over Guardians
After a disappointing 7-4 loss on opening day to the Cleveland Guardians, the Kansas City Royals bounce back in game two, winning 4-3 at Kauffman. Starter Seth Lugo gave up three earned runs in his five innings pitched, and the relievers and closers were able to hold onto the lead as the game came to a close. Production on the offensive side came from Jonathan India’s two hits, Salvador Perez’s two knocks, and Maikel Garcia’s two hits, one of which was a home run. The team hopes to finish off the series with a win on this afternoon.
