Photos: Royals struggle in games one and two versus Mets

On Friday, July 11, the Kansas City Royals faced off against the New York Mets in game one of a three-game series where the ‘Yals dropped the match 8-3. The following night, the Royals would fall short again, this time just 3-1. The team has struggled throughout the first half of the season as the Detroit Tigers run away with the AL Central Division. The Royals hope to get back in the win column this afternoon in game three versus the Mets.
