On Wednesday, May 28, the Kansas City Royals faced off against the Cincinnati Reds for the third game of a three-game series. While the hometown team fell short in the previous two match ups, they were able to secure one win and avoid the sweep, topping the Reds 3-2 on Wednesday night. Two of the runs came from star shortstop Bobby Witt Jr.’s RBIs. The Royals are now set to host division rivals and one of the hottest teams in baseball in the Detroit Tigers on Friday, May 30.
