Photos: Mavs miraculous third period gives the team 1-0 series lead over Tahoe

The Kansas City Mavericks faced off against the Tahoe Knight Monsters on Sunday, May 4 at Cable Dahmer Arena for game one of the second round of the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs. While the match started out slow for the Mavs, which saw Tahoe putting in one goal in the second period, the hometown team began to light the lamp, scoring five goals in the third period to put Tahoe away, 5-3. The goals came from Casey Carreau, Justin MacPherson, Damien Giroux, Marcus Crawford, and Cade Borchardt. The team looks to continue the success tonight at Cable Dahmer.
