Photos: Lavender Bride, discotek mama, and Sleet at The Tollbooth

Last Friday, Lawrence locals gathered at the Tollbooth to see local bands Lavender Bride, discotek mama, and Sleet.

Sleet kicked off the show, performing their original songs “Turn Around” and “Static” along with a cover of Deftones’ “Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away).”

Lawrence pop sensation discotek mama took the stage, shredded through their set of alt-rock originals, along with their rendition of “Can’t Take My Eyes off You” by Frankie Valli. Lavender Bride was the last band to perform, bringing down the house with their songs “Archie” and “Hunter & the Prey” and ending the night with their cover of “Good Life” by Sammy Rae and The Friends.
