Photos: KU Basketball kicks off ’24-25 season with Late Night in the Phog featuring Lil Jon

Friday night, the University of Kansas Jayhawks kicked off basketball season with the annual Late Night in the Phog. It was the 40th annual installment of the event, which showcased both the teams on the court and the new renovations to Allen Fieldhouse, such as new scoreboards and screens and “new amenities throughout the building on every level, including elevated concessions options from new concessions partner, Oakview Group.”

In addition to scrimmages with the KU men’s and women’s basketball teams and performances from the cheerleaders and dancers, the event was capped off with a performance from rapper Lil Jon.
