Photos: KC PrideFest brings three days of entertainment and community building to Theis Park
The Kansas City Pride Community Alliance brought Kansas City PrideFest to Theis Park for three days of music, activities, and community building this past weekend. Beginning on June 7, and ending on June 9, the event served a safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as those in support of the community, together in a joyous three-day event. On Saturday, June 8, the Kansas City Pride Parade took place, with Kansas Citians trotting down Broadway Blvd., heading for Theis park to round out their march. The weekend offered plenty of music, activities, time with friends and family, and just down right fun to the town.
