Photos: KC Mavs roll onto second round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs with 4-2 series win over Tulsa
On Monday, April 28, the Kansas City Mavericks took down the Tulsa Oilers in a 4-0 victory at Cable Dahmer Arena to propel the team to the second round of the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs. Goalie Jack LaFontaine secured his second shutout of the 2025 Kelly Cup Playoffs, continuing to show how crucial he is to the team’s success. Cade Borchardt got the scoring going early for the Mavs, followed by a goal from Jackson Berezowski to give the team a two-goal lead heading into the second period. The team would add two more—one in the second from Damien Giroux and another in the third from Nolan Sullivan. The team is set to move forward to the Mountain Division Finals against Tahoe Knight Monsters with game one held at Cable Dahmer on Sunday, May 4.
