With a 4-1 win over Tigres last night, the Current has claimed a place in the NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup Semifinals this Tuesday, August 6. Goals from midfielders Lo’eau LaBonta and Debinha, defender Ellie Wheeler and 18-year-old midfielder Claire Hutton’s first professional goal, contributed to a dominant win over the 2023 Liga MX Femenil champions.

All eyes are now on the semifinals doubleheader at CPKC Stadium on August 6 at 8 p.m.
