The KC Current took down the Houston Dash 2-0 on Saturday, April 19 at CPKC Stadium. Lo’eau LaBonta broke the game open, scoring a penalty in just the 21st minute of the match. Kayla Sharples would add another goal to give the hometown team a 2-0 lead in the second period. The team now moves on to 5-0-0 on the 2025 NWSL season, hopeful to continue their winning streak against the North Carolina Courage on Saturday, April 26.
