Photos: Kansas City Royals get back on track after All-Star break with series sweep against the Chicago White Sox
The Kansas City Royals took on the Chicago White Sox this past weekend in a three-game series, sweeping the Southside team 3-0. Following the MLB All-Star break, the team got back on track last Friday against the White Sox and never looked back in the series, tallying a 7-1 win on Friday, along with a 6-1 win on Saturday and a 4-1 win on Sunday. While the White Sox are the worst team in Major League Baseball, sweeping a series is always impressive. After trading for Washington Nationals relief pitcher Hunter Harvey before the All-Star break, and now off to a 3-0 start to the back half of the season, the team seems hopeful and serious about making a playoff run this October.
