Photos: Coach O’Had now just two wins away from most wins in Mavs history after Saturday victory

The Kansas City Mavericks hosted their “First Responder’s Night” match on Saturday, Feb. 22, hosting a match against the Allen Americans. The Mavs got off to a quick jump, scoring both of their two goals in the 2-1 win in the first period, coming from Damien Giroux and Max Andreev. The game remained stagnant up until the third period when the Americans cut the deficit down to one with a goal of their own. Nevertheless, the Mavs fought ’til the final buzzer and left Cable Dahmer Arena with a victory. Coach O’Had is now just two wins away from holding the record for most wins in franchise history. They hope to cut that down to one win after their game at home tonight against the Utah Grizzlies.
