Touring in support of last year’s Dance Devil Dance, Swedish metal band Avatar took to the Truman stage on Thursday to rip through a set of groove-influenced death metal. Like-minded, although less flamboyant, locals Hammerhedd opened, and our photographer Barry Meitler was there to capture it all.
