PETA Watch: Naked women at 47th and Main today

You’ve seen them in body paint and lettuce skirts and dressed up like cavewomen. Now, see activists from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals lather each other up during the lunch-hour rush.
According to a press release I got yesterday:
Naked behind a banner that reads, “Meat’s Not Green,” two PETA beauties will shower together at a busy Kansas City location to let consumers know that the best thing they can do for the environment is to go vegetarian.
“We want to let people know that the meat industry wastes water and that people can help the environment by eating a vegetarian diet,” local PETA spokeswoman Holly Beal tells me. “We haven’t shared this type of demonstration with Kansas City before.”
Check out the bathing beauties today, starting at noon, at the intersection of 47th and Main streets.
