Paperhaus is coming to FOKL on Wednesday night

There is something delightfully imperfect about the DIY nature of the Washington, D.C.-based foursome that is Paperhaus. Just this May, the band self-released a hazy four-song EP Lo Hi Lo, and on it you can hear the individual influences of the four very disparate songwriters coming together to make some surprisingly genuine indie-pop music. Tomorrow night at FOKL, Paperhaus is joined by local electro-pop artist Scammers (the stage name of Phil Diamond) and local band Lazy.

Here’s a video of Paperhaus performing a song in an apparently dilapidated building.
