Libra/Libra Rising* (Sep 23-Oct 22): As much as you talk, you know how to even your scales and keep the best secrets. I’ve heard the best revenge is a successful life (and also looking good when you run into your ex, unexpectedly). New Moon falls in your sign on Tuesday, September 27, at 6:09a CDT. Meaning? Time to distribute your brand of knowledge, your perfectly equivocal perspective. You’ve got a number of captive audiences. Your particular gift (and it’s accentuated now) is being able to make each individual feel as if he or she is the most unique creation (ala snowflakes). The more responsible you deliver your attractive mojo, the more karmic assets will be value added to your soul. And, please don’t act like you don’t understand karma, value-added or soul. Scorpio/Scorpio Rising* (Oct 23-Nov 21): If only other dimensions wouldn’t bleed through into this one. If only Allah would tie up that camel for me. If only I knew what Jesus would do when I travel the southern United States. If only I were a rich man … What, if only, ever. You have to want to. Evolve. Your gift is knowing where others are blocked. Not. Evolving. And you do realize how you can handle difficult folks once you suss out their true bottom-line motivation(s). Sometimes those energetic rays of active intelligence shine bleakly. Meaning? Knowing when you don’t need to know a reason or motivation. Take a page out of completely compatible Pisces’ playbook: Have faith. Sleep on Hebrews Chapter 11, Verse 1 (New World Translation), which reads, “faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities not yet beheld.” If only Krishna and Radha heard my invocative entreaties …

Sagittarius/Sagittarius Rising* (Nov 22-Dec 19): Like I discussed with Scorpio last week, you must learn to trust and forgive. Your seemingly Pollyanna ass won’t say how disappointed you are in certain family members, but you are. It is called “managing expectations.” Expectations immediately take you out of the present moment. Your exceptional voodoo resides in the now. Rarely have you looked so beautiful to strangers you want to impress than you do now. Please don’t behave trashily, and overtly flirt or gawk with your date or someone who likes you. Yes, you. Can. Be. Crude. Meaning? It is all about the ditty of a song “Solid” (for more info, read Scorpio’s message from last week). No running away. Making your loves like your favorite touchstone. What have you got? There’s a marked difference in being critical and particular. For example, you can like getting your thighs taken care of. But if a lover spends lots of time on the small of your back or neck, that’s OK, too. However, if you say to said lover, I’d rather you tend to my thighs after you’ve had a good ol’ time lover tending to other areas, you’re critical. No karmic brownie points for you! Live with your particular personal truths. Let that critical voice go to hell!

Capricorn/Capricorn Rising* (Dec 21-Jan 19): You’re having a sit-down with yourself. You’ve got the wife and girlfriend, depending how you roll. Or you have the budding bromance brimming over into your saintly family time. Whatever. Meaning? You have been focused too much on the nonessential. Materialistic. Whore. Man-whore. You’ve been bought, haven’t you? Although the 13th Amendment freed the slaves, you have sold your soul to the highest bidder, huh? Take a little time to give due process to your soul. Ask a few pertinent questions. Do you know who is all you need to get by? Do you only want to “get by”? Do you know how to throw away your pride, particularly in public appearances? Once you know tasks chime in as Sisyphean (cursed to roll a ball up the hill only for it to roll back down again, mythologically speaking). The closer your birthday is to December 27, the more powerful your descent into learning what’s truly important in your life. Laughter/joy/gratitude win everything. So, metaphorically gun down the mean Godfather role you’ve been playing. No score keeping on what’s given to whom.

Aquarius/Aquarius Rising*(Jan 20-Feb 19): First of all, you must realize you are not for everybody. Now, you may think you are, because you are so bright and quick-witted. However, some people like the gutter, and they need to stay there. In your zeal to relate to the masses, you forget to relate to your particularly peculiar heart (and what it wants). What you need to do at the beginning of this fall is to know your heart. Take your mind to its mental extreme and, simply, be heart. Sure, you and your heart are an acquired taste. Defy what your mind tells you. Your defiance will serve everyone best when it comes from a place of unity and acceptance. When you rail against something or someone, it has to be for a higher purpose, otherwise you easily become mean (coldhearted). Everyone loses. Not suggesting rampant self-sacrifice, only that you consider taking one for the team.

Pisces/Pisces Rising (Feb 18-Mar 20): You have been playing and replaying the role of the enmeshed parent everywhere. Knowing the touch of your closest intimates any and everywhere can cause challenges in your closest and best relationships. It’s like telling the relatively small tale that “size doesn’t matter.” Be they pingas or boobies, most must measure up like Goldilocks and her choosing her sleeping arrangements. However, what I want you to know is that playing the role of parent in your peer relationships means both end up less than satisfied. You begin to harbor resentment, albeit quietly. And your partner continues to take little or no responsibility for the health of the relationship. End these kinds of dependent connections as soon as you can. You may start in your mind, now.

Aries/Aries Rising* (Mar 21-Apr 19): Check your motivation before communication. What? You do not have time for games. You are a transparent individualist. I am not impugning your motives, only getting you to see how complex humans can be. Oh, don’t go dismissive on me, either. Your headstrong ways can get in the way of the heart-to-heart bonds you want to build as well as protect. Present planetary alignments (nearly half the zodiac is in Libra, and your ruler, Mars, blazes through Leo) mandate that you show your best relational side. Imagine what it must be like to walk in another’s shoes. Set any and all defensive records straight. Show the self that sees no victims, martyrs or bullies. Demonstrate your inspirational side that strengthens the resolve of everyone you meet. You have many gifts, but they evolve best now in mastering the atmosphere created in one-to-one relationships. If you still believe you’re lacking in social graces, get over this through practice.

Taurus/Taurus Rising* (Apr 20-May 21): Tactile nature, that’s you. When shopping, you must touch the fabric. When loving, you must feel the physicality of all your senses. Food often makes its way into your sensual lovemaking. Just have to watch out from replacing misplaced feelings with food, shopping, drugs, etc. The upcoming New Moon (September 27 @ 6:09a CDT) is in Venus ruled Libra. It is an all-too-easy, nonresistant energy that highlights your love of ease. With a bit of effort, you can ward of the extra pounds. With more effort, you can end (or modify) any bad habits of inertia, complacency and, your biggest bugaboo, stubbornness. Instead reframe yourself as a determined soul … determined to know yourself, determined to persevere in those areas of life you deem important, and determined to be solid (as well as doing solids) for the rest of us.

Gemini/Gemini Rising* (May 21-Jun 20): Somebody told a lie and said heaven was in the sky when it was lying right next to you. In the most idealistic way possible (and what the “Lord’s prayer” states), “let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Pagans were all over this before this was ever written. They worked through their law of correspondence, “as above, so below.” It is a lie for you to get caught up in the physical world and rational thought only. Focus upon the spirit behind what’s being said. Time for you to figure out where heaven exists on earth. Daily recognize how you speak your reality into existence. Start with pondering the difference between “if or when.” “If” sends the signal that you have less confidence in manifestation of your reality. “When” speaks oodles of confidence, in that you expect something to happen.

Cancer/Cancer Rising* (Jun 21-July 21): Good to have you back, old friend. It’s all that talk of sacred marriage and following your bliss (ala Joseph Campbell) that’s got me stoked about your life. That marriage can work for you, in all of its best aspects, comes through your ability to merge your yang and yin energies. After all, it has been said that the yin (feminine) energies bring all of the yang (masculine) stirrings into manifestation. Yes, we all get here through the female, especially your sign. The sun reaches its height at the beginning of your exceptionally yin/water sign. And this is the sacred marriage. Without an inner joining of your separate, but needing to be, integrated selves, you cannot follow your own bliss. Someone else’s idea of nirvana, sure, but it don’t cost you nothing to sit back, contemplate and revel with the gifts set inside of you, for you.

Leo/Leo Rising* (July 22-Aug 22): Innocence is as innocence does. You like to think of yourself as too cultured to be less sophisticated or seen as “country” or “pastoral.” Yet, in your heart you cannot help but be curious about what the current trends are in whatever you are interested. Be it fashion, cooking, gadgets, sports, etc., fall’s beginning usually makes your mind mischievous, willing to think outside the conventional box. Contemplate the nonconforming considerations, but at some point you have to act. And once you act, you move from the abstract realm of possibilities to the so-called real world. In this world, you have come to expect detractors, those who are envious. Through your alleged innocence, you make life seem easy to master. C’est la vie. Or that is your life.

Virgo/Virgo Rising* (Aug 22-Sept 22): It is all about the journey, not the destination, or so the saying goes. It is an instinctive awareness that is a passenger on your travels. Instinctive messages come through the gut knowing, dreams and “coincidences.” In order to tap into this part of yourself, you have to live from a less busy stance. Last week, I talked about a “worry chair”; this week, I suggest you work at least 15 minutes less each day. Learn to recognize connecting signs on how you have stayed on your personal path. The signs that you are still on path are lightness, joy and a willingness to serve. All I’m asking is for you to know when not to serve, when to rest. With five planets in Libra, life centers on balance, and for you, that often means between work and play.
