Scorpio/Scorpio Rising* (Oct 23-Nov 21): Being the deepest and darkest of the feminine/yin/receptive signs, you thrive on introspection and psychoanalytical analysis. Sagittarius/Sagittarius Rising* (Nov 22-Dec 19): Hot to trot meets rubber in the road. You’ve been flirting (when do you not?) with someone you must see. It has been said that you shouldn’t sex where you eat (so the kitchen is a no go?). For the younger and often slower souls, do not have sex with co-workers. Not one for being able to slough off temptations (unless you’re the fundamental kind of Sag), it will be challenging, the next nine months, to overlook an electricity between you and another at work. Another way to go (if you’re in a closed monogamous relationship) would be to use these, shall I say, excessive creative drives to be healthier, driven toward perfection, as it were. Capricorn/Capricorn Rising* (Dec 21-Jan 19): Imagine you’re in a foreign country. You don’t know the language. But you’re having an incredible time depending on your other senses (and guides, too). You traveled to this country because it’s time for you to have an adventure. As a tourist, you cannot rely upon your understanding of the customs. As a traveler, you have an innate trust in your abilities to “read” those foreign others. Being a sign that thrives on control, dependency on anything but the practical and what you consider to be common sense is not for you. Allow yourself to accept that “reading” folks is not going to make you more pragmatic, or will it? As long as you do not rely on precedence too much, you as traveler through various relationships can have a raucous good time. Combine the question “Why not?” with “Does this harm anyone?” You must get near the line to cross in order to see it clearly. You’ve got to be willing to break with unnecessary routines for your freer spirit to show itself; otherwise, it’s empty trash talk. And you are entirely better than that.
Aquarius/Aquarius Rising*(Jan 20-Feb 19): No one would know it on your first impression, but you can be more of a masochist than sadist, situationally speaking. You will submit to a superior (read: actively positive) ideal, intellect and interpreter. We’ve spoken much about ideals and how there is no “should” manual. You write your own life script. There are no rules except serving a higher purpose that’s inclusive of all living beings. Pisces/Pisces Rising (Feb 18-Mar 20): Given toward unity, individualistic desires leave you feeling guilty. When carried to an extreme, you can attract the exceptionally critical folks. What’s harder to deal with is when close mates and friends do not admit to their secret envy of you. That’s when you sense (and sometimes suffer from) their elusive critiques. Here’s your transitional truth to get used to: If it cannot be said straightforwardly, then it is not worth paying any attention to. Learning to surrender can be your life’s lessons, but I know it does no one any good when others behave stupidly. Taurus/Taurus Rising* (Apr 20-May 21): Nothing wrong with lavishing yourself, if you’ve earned it. Luxury means more to you, when your beautiful butt baked the biscuits. Please no literal “reading into.” “Reading Into,” or RI, is not one of your strengths, unless it’s for ways to glean more pleasure for yourself. Ask pertinent questions of your complementary sign Scorpio, when RI rears its inquisitively insightful gaze. Show the correct motivation, Scorpio will reveal some hard-earned psychological truths. Cancer/Cancer Rising* (Jun 21-July 21): What are you needing to pray away? Such a loaded and leading question, blame my law professors. I ain’t asking for you to do penance. I’m asking you to decide what penance to do. Want to see God? Look in the mirror. It’s only seven years of bad luck when you don’t recognize w/swagger that you broke the GD (pun intended) mirror in the first place! As men continue to behave better, some of us can slowly adopt a closer energy to women calling themselves goddesses. I’ve heard one too many Cancer men describe himself as a “lesbian trapped in a male body.” Women of your sign tend to have an empathy toward the gay male. Doth not matter in this instance, ’cause we be talkin’ soul. And the soul is which gender? The soul that’s paradoxically identified with connection and transcending time and space. Leo/Leo Rising* (July 22-Aug 22): Will you satisfy? Since your birthday, you’ve been coasting, a kind of an Olympic “resting on your laurels.” Not in your mind, but in your actions, you haven’t just “got her done” or “him” for that matter. Yes, you can begin any new relationship with a presumption that we should be glad you have rescued us. Whatever would we have done without your guiding vision or hand? To be fair (oh, I love you), to break down your icy barrier, we pretend to be more distress than damsel or more wounded gentleman than horned elk. You cannot love according to surveys or polls (period). It’s like Rick Perry needs to come out others. And you, like Mr. Perry, must end any attachment to overcompensation. Be loved for who you are.
Virgo/Virgo Rising* (Aug 22-Sept 22): Take me there. Take us there. Oh, you will be respected in the morning. Go inside yourself and release your Inner Freak (IF). Mars rules blood and the muscular system. What do you have a hankering for (that you’ve barely admitted to yourself)? Libra/Libra Rising* (Sep 23-Oct 22): Looking for a new love? If you knew your lover was like this or that, then why did you choose said lover? Actually, I’d bet you’re searching for a new expression of your loving energies. A touch, glance, smile or precise well-meant tone, any or all of the above, that rocks your cradle. Sometimes you retreat from relationships because you perceive them as a series of compromises (they are). However, one of the only ways to know yourself fully is through these intimate negotiations, even when it’s haggling over the price of something or who’s going to pick up the children from school.
