Lunar Eclipse, Saturday, December 10, at 8:38a CST. Where are you being called to explore now?

Sagittarius/Sagittarius Rising* (Nov 22-Dec 19): Taking a definitive stand on your personal beliefs is one thing we’ve come to depend on from you. It’s only when you allow your, shall I say, enthusiasms to get the best of your ability to assess the facts that we begin to worry. This upcoming Lunar Eclipse pushes you to know what is true versus what you want to believe is true. Truly I say to you (as if it were a first-century text), you must sacrifice that battling-for-the-sake battling, warrior. This is not the time for any onward Christian soldier against something someone else feels is holy. Take one for the proverbial team; live and let live. If there’s any glory to be found in your energy, it is from moving beyond tolerance to a real acceptance. That’s how you meet your spiritual version of a free-spirited St. Peter. Like Trix cereal, organized religion is for baby souls; spirituality is for older souls.

Capricorn/Capricorn Rising* (Dec 21-Jan 19): Pejoratively speaking, the “left-handed path” means that a person with occult (hidden) powers uses his or her knowledge for negative purposes. Sort of like selling your soul to the devil. You go left-handedly awry when you cease thinking for yourself. Or you go on a dangerous path because you believe others only expect perfection from you. The whole aspect of redemption can emanate from a need for others to have all behaviors explained and fitting neatly into boxes that they made. All the planets ask of you now is that you ask for protection from whatever higher source you value. If I were you, I’d begin with entreating honor and integrity to be my traveling companions, no matter where or with whom I found myself. Indeed and in deed, your right hand knows what your left hand is doing, in the very real sense that you possess an energetic balance between the active (male/yang) and passive (female/yin).

Aquarius/Aquarius Rising*(Jan 20-Feb 19): Your celestial weather points to your locating the joy in being a weather vane. Perched atop a building or home, the weather vane shows where the wind is blowing. Accept larger societal forces to utilize your untutored ability to demonstrate a direction to which we can choose to surrender (or not). Your community comes back to you to get a reference point of what we accepted as consequences for our actions. It’s through your unaffected honest response that you bring joy to us. You see, the gratitude that creates joy starts in your open heart. Without your conscious willingness to be emotionally affected by those closest to you, your weather vane spins in vain. No one knows which shared direction in which to go, and the winds of change behave like August 28, 2005 (the eve of Katrina). By the way, your joy sources itself like the weather vane that has a higher perspective, without which you might as well be likened to a plumber’s snake getting the s**t out of the drain in the basement.

Pisces/Pisces Rising (Feb 18-Mar 20): Focus on where our transcended urges are going to go. Transcendence, as in our collective “trance ending.” Say goodbye to wishful thinking with no earthly context. This delusional dance has us all shook up like a lover afraid of feeling too much. Suppressing your feelings will not work. It is understanding that you must end the way you’ve been viewing your body. It is sacred land. Your physical body is your best barometer of which treaties to sign. Negotiate where you are more likely to forgive our potentially injurious behavior. However, please accept the part you’ve played in any pain you feel. Did you alert your closest other as to what would hurt you, or did you passively think we should know? End the trance that we should know through observing you. Some mentally thicker or overly logical types need your inner feelings and expectations to be verbalized.

Aries/Aries Rising* (Mar 21-Apr 19): The more self-worth you have, the more your will merges with a protective desire of those who are weaker. It is your ability to search out and be receptive to those who are in a legitimate need of help that makes you oh so attractive. Self-reliance, while an admirable trait, in its extreme can make you hard to reach and harsh. This Lunar Eclipse affects the balance between what you’ve been accepting from an almost mercenary “ends justifies the means” mentality and what your pioneering long-term insight demonstrates to you. It is an extremely shortsighted tact to take to follow unexamined traditions. What was good enough for your ancestors or predecessors cannot be good enough for you. That’s precisely why the Earth sits between the Sun and Moon every six months. It is to give us a break from precedence, to think from a pure spiritual consciousness that responds to the present moment with minimal interference from the past. Your increased self-worth allows you to step out to be an enlightened group of one. Continued in Cancer …

Taurus/Taurus Rising* (Apr 20-May 21): The Moon has an intimate and powerful relationship to you. Through the physical body that your mother gave to you, the Moon (mother’s womb in which you incubated) gives you an incredible memory, tactile and long-lasting. As such, when (or if?) your mother acted from a dearest (read: narcissistic) motivation, you scorch the earth. In essence, you burn up relationships when you refuse to accept any outside aid. Also, you can torch us through becoming exceptionally passive and dependent, but stubbornly resistant to any helpful advice. Find the moderation like the other Venus-ruled sign of Libra. Allow your connections to ebb and flow without your watchful eye that measures everything given. Use this Lunar Eclipse to regulate your body’s temperature from lust to love to no expectations. It can all come down to your memories that you choose to outgrow. Heated arguments with someone who has your best interest at heart can help you leave negative mommy memories.

Gemini/Gemini Rising* (May 21-Jun 20): Brute force is simply not your style. A look, innuendo and consciously deciding what not to say – these represent your strength. Get us to do your bidding through inspiration and taking a philosophical tact. This Lunar Eclipse activates a fullness between the way you see yourself and how you project yourself in your closest relationships. Quantum physics teaches us that the observer affects what (or who) is being observed. So how do you see your mates and peers? Do you expect to be hurt or maimed by others? Begin through communicating how you can be hurt. Those who desire you in their lives will take note and take great pains to not do what makes you ill. To have an emotional need does not make you weak. The weakness happens through denying or suppressing needs; like a healthy democracy, all adult citizens must have equal (and easy) access to voting for representation.

Cancer/Cancer Rising* (Jun 21-July 21): Begun in Aries. As one of your most challenging signs, the pure spirit energy of Aries can burn up your pure soul. That is one reason that you are simultaneously attracted and repealed by the zodiac’s infant sign. You like their heat, but you are self-protective. This Lunar Eclipse has the hallmark of getting you to understand the delicate balance between your physical and spiritual health. To presume that your attitude doesn’t play a clear and convincing role in how quickly you heal or how you maintain a healthier immune system is exceptional folly. And foolish you are not. Use your pure soul of a sign (I define the soul as a historical witness, keeper of all your actions, feelings and thoughts) to uplift yourself from any ghosts from your mother’s side of the family. Instead look to your father (heavenly or earthly) to ascertain where you want a healing, to become whole as it were, no matter who’s playing the role of ass in your life. Your soul knows how to heal, even if you were not taught how, in this life.

Leo/Leo Rising* (July 22-Aug 22): To bow to peer pressure is an affirmation of your indomitable spirit. My only question is that they truly be peers. You do have equals, no? You do have people who tell you when you have stuff in your eyes, right? A frenemy can be a blessing. Your solid spirit can become off-putting to those who have less awareness of their individual self-esteem. They easily see your confidence as bragging. Sincere humility makes you irresistible. It’s all in how you communicate your swagger. This Lunar Eclipse highlights your unedited Self. This capital “S” self has the hallmark of an integrated being who rapidly assesses what can be expected to be delivered in each moment of interconnectedness, like mutual and multiple orgasms that increase exponentially. We cannot all be you … but we can strive to emulate you.

Virgo/Virgo Rising* (Aug 22-Sept 22): Every Full Moon each 28 days requires you to illuminate and integrate two opposing, but complementary, areas of your life. Lunar Eclipses amp up the wattage, so to speak. Instead of a seesaw, eclipses can feel like you’re walking on a tightrope in tights. This one is no different. Our Earth blocks the Moon in Gemini, your 10th house of honors, status, career and authority figures. Already, you have a predisposition toward overanalysis and a need to please. This Moon will help you at least trace the roots of this behavior. How have you been taught to be excessively self-conscious, particularly when it comes to those in alleged control? Instead, look to your deepest and private parts of your soul to ascertain intuitively what is the best course of action to take for self-protection and personal healing. Have you taken a “mental health” day lately? This is just one of those days. You’re not physically ill; you just need some unplanned downtime. Workaholics are unattractive and, possibly latently, not well.

Libra/Libra Rising* (Sep 23-Oct 22): That old saying “If you want something done, do it yourself” has rarely been truer for you. Being the sign that begins all forms of partnerships, normally I recommend connections and hookups. However, this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse will point out your imperfect perceptions and philosophies of what relationships have to offer. You’ve got to come out of those high-flying visions where all things are possible, a fall to Earth where you must choose one option instead of wishing for others. That option is yourself. When you DIY (do it yourself), you have less board meetings, polling results and consensus building. You can get from point A to point B with less fuss and much faster. All we ask is that you tell direct and unaltered truths to those who attempt to dominate your individual process. In other words, “to thine self be true.”

Scorpio/Scorpio Rising* (Oct 23-Nov 21): The late Scorpion Dr. Rainier in high school was fond of saying, “Any more than a mouthful is too much.” He would interject this in any conversation that was too bland or vanilla. This statement could be interpreted in many ways depending upon the context. Loving all things hidden, you take the Libra’s skill of one-to-one relating to a deeper level, not necessarily on an inappropriate or dirty level. You enjoy giving folks something to talk about, while you assess what that would or would not do (your insights you quietly file away for use later; after all, knowledge is power). This Full Moon Eclipse cajoles your inner vision to focus upon being a proper steward of your resources, and that includes what you place inside your mouth. Clean up your thoughts! I mean, how you nourish yourself, the foods you eat and how much you eat. Stewards of resources do not get attached to what they own. They care for their possessions, and that includes your physical body …
