One Last Run-Through

The final Chiefs preseason game is usually a desultory affair, filled with the also-rans of the roster playing most of the game in an attempt to impress scouts for other teams. Not this year, though, as the rebuilding Chiefs attempt to ascertain who will and will not make a significant contribution. The ability to impress the coaching staff is critical, and a young player might have but one opportunity to stay on an NFL roster. Young Chiefs players hoping to continue their NFL careers get another shot at making an impression at
7 p.m., when KC faces the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are doing quite well without indecisive diva Brett Favre. Aaron Rodgers is a fine young quarterback, and the Packers will vie for the NFC North crown against their former franchise quarterback’s Minnesota Vikings. Tickets cost
$30-$265. Call 800-745-3000.— Chris Rasmussen
