Of Montreal and Janelle Monae will make Liberty Hall explode in color this weekend
Of Montreal and Janelle Monae are combining their technicolor dreamscapes into one gigantic psychedelic dream — and they’re doing it here, in Lawrence, on Saturday night. Of Montreal showed up on Monae’s The ArchAndroid, and Monae showed up twice on of Montreal’s False Priest. (The Georgia-based art freaks even invited Monáe onstage to moonwalk at last year’s Lollapalooza.) They’ve toured together before, but Of Montreal and Monae will hit Lawrence on a joint headline this Saturday.
