NY Post calls Lisa Irwin’s parents’ attorney, Joe Tacopina, possibly ‘the most hated lawyer in New York’
The parents of missing 11-month-old Lisa Irwin will be represented by New York criminal defense attorney Joe Tacopina. The news came during a press conference this afternoon in which private investigator Bill Stanton also announced that he was leaving Kansas City, but not the investigation.
Tacopina told reporters that baby Lisa’s parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, won’t be doing any more interviews with the press for the foreseeable future.
“I want to pull back their appearances now …” and focus on the search for their daughter, Tacopina said. He added that Bradley and Irwin “have nothing to hide.”
So who is Joe Tacopina? His firm’s website calls him the “hottest young criminal defense lawyer” in New York and lists a slew of big-name endorsements, like a blockbuster film.
