Now Missouri is trying to legalize real weed and outlaw fake weed

​Man, is this a great day for medical marijuana news or what?

Kate Meiners — a Democratic state representative from right here in KC — has introduced legislation that would allow physicians to prescribe medical marijuana to patients suffering from “debilitating medical conditions.”

This is the second time this year she’s tried to get a vote on medical marijuana. Meiners’ last bill didn’t even get a committee hearing. This time, there’s a little more public support. A group of Missourians calling themselves Sensible Missouri say they have been diagnosed with conditions that could be made more bearable by some prescribed Northern Lights. Next Wednesday, they’ll go to Jefferson City in an effort to earn legislative support.
