Northland deaths of man and woman being investigated as a murder-suicide; 65 homicides in KCMO
Disturbing story in the Northland. Kansas City police are investigating a murder-suicide after the bodies of a man and a woman were discovered at an apartment complex.
Captain Steve Young says officers discovered the bodies Sunday around 11 p.m. while conducting a welfare check in the 8300 block of North Donnelly Avenue. Both were dead from gunshot wounds. Police are still working on how the 27-year-old suspect and 23-year-old victim knew each other.
