New Mac Lethal MP3: “At Least There’s Twitter”

Black Clover has leaked a song from the upcoming Mac Lethal release Special Reserve 4, and if you’re like me, you’re thinking, Four? How did I miss one through three?. Hey, at least Mac’s giving his fans plenty of fresh material, like, pretty much ’round the clock. In fact, this past Saturday, Lethalville put out the call for extras to come be in a video shoot at the Riot Room that very day. You were supposed to come wearing 1920s clothes and cheer for two dudes boxing. I can’t even guess what track it was for — after all, the plot of the video for “Calm Down Baby,” with its cartoonish gunmen and bazooka-toting hipster babes, had nothing to do with the song lyrics. Anyway, look at me, yammering on…
So, here’s the new Mac Lethal song. Just for you. It’s called “At Least There’s Twitter,” and it starts off as the most hypocritical song Mac’s ever written because, throughout the first two thirds, it has him declaiming the same kind of social-media/social-networking/online-marketing concepts and devices that Mac and Black Clover themselves use — very effectively, I might add — to keep us talking about their music and just, well, fuckin’ thinking about them. But then for the last third, he goes off about America’s irresponsible spending habits and gets majorly preachy about tiresome economic crap. In fact, I wonder why I even bother to blog all this shit. Fuck blogging! And fuck veganism too! I’d rather eat meat in a leather shoe! But I digress yet again…
