New Kids on the Block in Kansas City One Of The Group’s Least Expensive Shows In May

One of the world’s best-selling groups is making a tour stop at the Sprint Center in Kansas City tomorrow night after spending tonight in Oklahoma City at the home of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Chesapeake Energy Arena, joined by TLC and St. Louis rapper Nelly.

Tickets for New Kids On The Block for their May 18 show have an average ticket price of $97.55 and a get-in price of $26. Monday night’s show is the fifth-least expensive in the month of May for New Kids On The Block, as shows at the Sprint Center, Smoothie King Center, Allstate Arena and Rogers Arena have lower average ticket prices, according to TotallyTickets.com.

Currently, the group consisting of Jonathan and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood are on their summer tour named, The Main Event. The tour began at the aforementioned May 1 show at Mandalay Bay and is scheduled to conclude on July 2 in Buffalo, New York. The tour plans to have just 47 shows.

According to a review from their show in Anaheim on May 2, “The show is filled with production and choreography for every song, streamer cannons, confetti shooting high into the air, and heart-shaped balloons. The band starts the show with two new songs and some other songs performed are “Block Party,” “10,” “Crash”, “Step by Step” and “My Favorite Girl”. There are solo sections during the show such as Jordan Knight on his solo hit “Give It to You,” McIntyre on “Twisted,” and Donny Wahlberg on “I Need You.”

Fans near the Kansas City area should get into one of the least expensive shows on their tour while the group is passing through.
