Netflix killed the video store: SRO Video closing in March

SRO Video is closing up shop. In December, my office mates at the Wayward Blog reported that the video store at 402 East Gregory Boulevard would close its doors “sometime in March or April.”

The Kansas City Star confirmed it on Tuesday, writing that the store will close in March when the store’s lease expires. SRO has already started selling off movies, but everything goes on sale February 18.
