National Opt-Out Day is Wednesday; expect long lines when you’re cashing in your free rub down

I get wanting a free rub when going through the security line at the airport. You gotta take the freebies when you can when flying, whether it’s free peanuts or soda or an old fashioned.

On Wednesday, one of the the busiest travel days of the year, some folks are planning to honor the hardworking TSA agents charged with giving you a free rub and tug by giving them extra work — and probably causing a clusterfuck in line as you try to get to Grandma’s house. Tomorrow is National Opt-Out Day, a call to travelers to choose the pat-downs instead of going through the full-body scanner.
