Natasha Brown gets prison time for not stopping husband’s alleged sexual abuse of young girls

From June 2008 through May 2010, Natasha Brown believed her husband was sexually “grooming” the young girls, who are now 9 and 11 years old. Brown didn’t go to the police. She didn’t tell the girls’ parents. She
didn’t do anything to stop her husband from allegedly raping the
children.
For doing nothing — and lifting her skirt and showing the girls her lady parts — a Douglas County jury convicted the 34-year-old Brown in October of two counts of
aggravated child endangerment and one count of lewd and lascivious
behavior. On Tuesday, the Lawrence Journal-World reported that a judge departed from standard sentencing guidelines that would have gotten Brown probation and sentenced her to 28 months in prison. It was the right thing to do.
