Mutemath, Mates of State, Season to Risk and other recently announced shows

Mutemath is a small band (there are only three musicians) that’s loud as hell (assuming hell is loud). The indie-rockers specialize in creating complex, ambient melodies with odd instruments, and they’re heading to the Bottleneck on Sunday, October 2. The show is an early one — doors at 7 p.m. and over by 10 p.m. The show is a part of the band’s Odd Soul tour. Expect to hear a lot of songs from, yes, Odd Soul, the band’s new album, which will be out October 4.
