Murder by Death, whiskey and gothic country at the Record Bar in September

Indiana’s most famous Western gothic quartet, Murder By Death, is on tour supporting their latest effort, Magpie. True to form, the album features some pretty awesome song titles; namely, “You Don’t Miss Twice (When You’re Shavin’ With a Knife).” (Though they will be hard-pressed to top 2003’s “Until Morale Improves, the Beatings Will Continue.”)  They’re playing with Samantha Crain, who rules, and they’ll be in Kansas City on September 14.

Check out the video for another excellent song title, “As Long As There Is Whiskey in the World,” after the jump.
