New song? Check. New video? Check. Guaranteed photo spread from a local publication to help drum up a buzz about the first two items on the list? If you’re Roman Numerals, check. Local style zine Faction outfitted Roman Numerals when the band recently made a video for their song “This Motion.” It screens publicly for the first time during a release party at RecordBar (1020 Westport Road, 816-753-5207). Peep accompanying images from the video shoot in the pages of the fourth issue of Faction, also debuting at the party. The all-ages event starts at 7 p.m. and runs to midnight, with performances by Roman Numerals and Olympic Size, plus DJ sets by members of both bands. The $7 cover includes a copy of the magazine.
