Movie and a Meal

It’s the weekend — so, how about a Movie and a Meal? Thirteen Westport eateries have teamed up with Tivoli Cinemas (4050 Pennsylvania, 816-561-5222) to make this classic combination a little cheaper. For the next four Saturdays and Sundays, you can see a matinee screening of a Hollywood classic for $4 and score a discount on grub before or after the show. Just pick up a coupon at the Tivoli box office or print one from tivolikc.com. The deal varies depending on the restaurant. For instance, Jerusalem Café offers buy-one-get-one-free sandwiches, while Sung Son Vietnamese deducts 10 percent from the total bill. At all restaurants, however, the coupon must be redeemed between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. The movie changes every week. This weekend’s feature is Some Like It Hot, starring Marilyn Monroe and Tony Curtis. In the weeks to come, catch Casablanca (December 26 and 27), Duck Soup (January 2 and 3) and Breakfast at Tiffany’s (January 9 and 10).
